Treatment of Pigmented Lesions (PL)

Pigmented Lesions Before and After

How does it work?

During the sessions, the pulsed light energy is absorbed by melanin causing an accumulation of heat and its destruction. After the session, the destroyed particles are eliminated by phagocytosis. The pigments and the melanocytes leave no trace.

For whom and for which parts of the body is it for?

This treatment can be done on men and women, for the aesthetic care of the face. It is possible to treat subjects with skin phototypes up to III.

What are the results?

Pulsed light is effective on sunspots, age spots and dermal and epidermal pigmented lesions. With the elimination of these spots, the result is the regulation of the skin's colouring.

How many sessions does it take?

The number of sessions depends on the size and the density of the spots to treat, the pigmentation of the skin and the age and gender of the subject. In general, 1 to 3 sessions are necessary at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks.
