IPL Treatment of Rosacea\Vascular Lesions

Many people suffer from excessive skin redness caused by dilated blood vessels on the face, neck, and chest. IPL technology can destroy the vascular lesions, revealing clearer, more attractive skin.

Treatment of Vascular Lesions (VR)

Vascular Lesions Treatment Before and After

How does it work?

The pulsed light is absorbed by oxyhaemoglobin, the target of the vascular lesion treatments. The light transform into heat and photocoagulates to destroy the target vessels by rupturing the vessel wall. It does this without damaging the surrounding tissue. After treatment the target vessel is eliminated by the body, leaving no trace.

For whom and for which parts of the body is it for?

This treatment can be done on men and women, for the aesthetic care of the face. It is possible to treat subjects with skin phototypes up to III.

What are the results?

Pulsed light is particularly effective on superficial vascular lesions like rosacea, fine telangiectasias, diffused redness, other symptoms of rosacea and flat angiomas etc.

How many sessions does it take?

The number of sessions depends on the size of the vessels to treat, the pigmentation of the skin and the age and gender of the patient. In general, 1 to 3 sessions are necessary at intervals of 1 to 2 weeks.
